The SMSL M3 uses a Cirrus Logic CS4398 decoder and a Texas Instruments TAS1020B USB controller, neither of those should require a driver, and by doing some Google searches it seems like other SMSL M3 owners have claimed it works fine without any drivers.

3/6/2017 · It has a Microsoft driver installed. I’ve tried updating the driver via Windows and as Jimbo mentioned, I have not been able to find a manufacturer driver. I’ve uninstalled the device in Device Manager, and when I plug the Q5 back in Windows chimes and the USB Composite Device shows up in Device Manager with a Code 10.
